OLYMPIC®, then known as Creo-Dipt, manufactured Solid Color Oil stain for pre-stained shakes and shingles. Developed machine stainer and introduced Semi-Transparent Oil stain
- 1950-1975

Company becomes OLYMPIC® Stain Products Company and establishes network of distributors throughout U.S. and Canada. OLYMPIC® OVERCOAT® and Latex Stain are introduced.
- 1975-1990

OLYMPIC® Torchbrush Logo is introduced. Product lines introduced included: MACHINECOAT®, STORMGUARD®, Super Premium, WATERGUARD® Wood, WATERGUARD®-Multi, PROCOAT® Professional Stains. PPG acquires Olympic Stains in 1989.

OLYMPIC® is integrated into the PPG Architectural Coatings group in 1992. In 1998 the name and brand OLYMPIC® Machine Applied Coatings is introduced.

Backed by the power of PPG, several new products launch in this decade: DURACOLOR® solid color and semi-transparent color for fiber composite substrates, bleaching oil, next generation MACHINECOAT® products. PPG Machine Applied Coatings branding is introduced in 2005.
